All year round, visitors can enjoy Aso’s panoramic grassy plains. A landscape that changes with the seasons, and a view so spectacular it's easy to forget that you are still in Japan. This is what has made Aso such a popular destination for tourists, and every year people flock from all over Japan. There is also an active volcano to be seen at Mt Nakadake, and Aso shrine is known as one of the oldest in Japan. Another way to soak up the nature of Aso is with a dip in an open-air bath at one of the area's many hot spring hotels. Not only this, the region’s crops and livestock, all raised on the mineral-rich spring water that flows from Mt Aso, are very highly regarded within Japan. When used in local cuisine, the flavour produced is really something special.

Aso Fresh Organic Rose Tea
Rose Tea
Contains organic roses grown in Aso
When considering the elements that factor into growing roses - temperature, soil, sunlight, water, insects and disease - Aso is actually an optimum environment for rose farming. The roses that grow in Aso are the only ones in Kumamoto prefecture approved by JAS(Japanese Agricultural Standards), and have been used to create this luxurious tasting, high quality rose tea.
Contains the organic herb stevia, grown using the spring waters of Minami-Aso.
Minami-Aso Organic grow herbs without relying on any pesticides or chemical fertilisers. In a year they grow over 50 different kinds of herbs on their large farm; from well known species such as rosemary and lavender, to medicinal herbs like fragrant wormwood. The stevia used in our tea is a sweet herb species, packing a flavour 200~300 times sweeter than that of sugar. Just a small amount can be used to sweeten any food or drink, so replacing sugar with stevia means a lower caloric content can be achieved without losing any sweetness. Those wishing to cut their sugar intake, or reduce the risk of cavities, can drink this tea without any concerns.
