Japanese-style auberge for mature holidaymakers
This inn and restaurant was originally built as a country house for a rice trader who started his business in 1843. The present inn owner cherishes the tradition from the old days and at the same time tries to introduce new ideas. The inn and restaurant is based on a concept of a Japanese-style auberge and offers delicious meals prepared from fresh local ingredients together with wines carefully selected by the owner, who is certified as sommelier, and Japanese sakes which go perfectly with the food. The bedrooms with separate living spaces in a mesonette style are quite spacious. In a separate building there are five open-air baths for private use by the inn guests as well as a bath for men and a bath for women. Visitors who are not staying overnight at the inn can also drop by and take a bath here.
